GEOPHYSICS FOR LANDSCAPES ARCHAEOLOGY
The XVth International Summer School in Archaeology on Integrated Geophysical Prospection in Archaeology will be
held at the Department of Archaeology of the University of Siena in Grosseto, 10-18 July 2006. This is a significant specialist
school and it will be attended by distinguished academics and researchers around the world. The school proceedings are to be
printed from the most important Italian publisher on archaeology (All’Insegna del Giglio – Florence,www.edigiglio.it).
We believe that this is a unique opportunity for you to promote your organization in Italy and to contribute to the national archaeological
community. Firstly we would like to present you a short history of the International Summer Schools in Archaeology and the project
of the present edition. At the end of the paper we hope you will consider the opportunity of a sponsorship arrangements.
SPONSORSHIP
1. Gold sponsor: 2500 € AND free access to the geophysical equipment (shipping cost included) not actually
at disposal of GEOSTUDI ASTIER
Moreover the sponsor increased visibility (website, poster, book, newspaper, TV), the gold sponsorship of the School include
the following:
- availability of exhibition space throughout the whole week of the school at the University Department
- use of the company’s instruments by students during the course of the school
- distribution to all School participants short material (brochure or advertisement) that you provide
- Copyright for the digital and paper publications of the geophysical data collected during the ISSA for publicity and demonstration
purposes (for a small sample of the available sites discovered for instance only during the XIV ISSA see the attached files)
- 10 copies of the final publication of the XVth ISSA with the acknowledgement of your support and your logo
- Increased awareness of the company’s instruments and their possible uses in archaeological landscape survey
